Comments: Tricia V. worked out a lesson that was very effective. She initially designed and dictated a picture with 5 or 6 objects. Sts. drew the picture and then she reviewed on the OHP – T/sts. worked up a description of the picture in sentences. Next sts. drew their own picture on ½ a piece of paper. Once completed, sts. wrote a description of the picture on a separate piece of paper. Teach collected the papers and randomly distributed them to other students. Sts. receiving a description read and drew the picture – the original author checked the picture for accuracy. (great self-/peer evaluation tool – sts. see immediate personal value in writing accuratelyJ

(please write up any additions, revisions and give them to Jackie for computer updates – I will try and keep updating the various level profiles as they are "adjusted" over the academic year)
