40 hours of lecture 160 hours of Clinical

Common health problems related to fluid and acid- base balance, urinary elimination, oxygenation, circulation and utilization of nutrients. Nursing process theory emphasizing assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. Care of patients with related problems is accomplished in acute care settings. Patient needs, priorities and the nursing process form the basis for clinical practice.
