- Vancouver Rotary -
$4,000 to a transfer student, due Feb. 22. Get an application at
Financial Aid.
- ACS Scholars Program -
approximately 100 scholarships for undergraduate students interested in
four-year studies (also transfer students) in the chemical science
field (incl. chem, biochem, chem engineering, material sci,
environmental sci). Check out the program link, or see Nadine for
more info.
- Washington NASA Space Grant -
Undergraduate scholarships at UW for Community College Transfer
Students. Renewable scholarships range from $1,000 -
$5,000. Applications must be postmarked by March 25, 2005.
- Puget Sound ACS
Scholarship - Organic Students, this is for you! $1000 for a
student who has completed Organic or is currently enrolled, and intends
to transfer in Fall 2005. The link gives you a .pdf info sheet.
Research Opportunities:
- "Hooked on Photonics" Summer Reasearch at UW. Deadline to
apply is Feb. 15th!!!
- Actively recruiting Community College
Students! Minimum qualifications: 1 year of General Chemistry
(131-133). Stipend: $3500 for

Research Experiences for Undergraduates. Summer paid internships at many locations
and many projects. Search the REU home page for possibilities!
- BS/MS programs at Idaho State University- earn a BS and MS in
Chemistry in 3 years at Idaho State. Successful applicants will
have all tuition and fees waived, and receive a small, yearly
