1. You will need a binder with index dividers.
2. Put your name, your class, and the quarter on the cover of your binder
3. Put the Quarter at a Glance sheets in the first section
4. Put your paragraphs and second and final drafts in order in your second section: Description (2 drafts), Narrative (2 drafts), Example (2 drafts), Process Analysis (2 drafts), Division/Classification (2 drafts)
5. Other writing in the third section (in class writing assignments)
6. The fourth section may be used for class notes.
1. To get an A in the class you must:
Have your portfolio looking neat and well organized, with all of the required materials included.
Have all of your in class writing assignments.
Have very few grammar mistakes in your last drafts.
2. To get a B in the class you must:
Have your portfolio looking neat and well organized, with all of the required materials included.
Have all of your in class writing assignments.
Have your final drafts included, but with few grammatical errors.
3. To get a C in the class you must:
Have your portfolio looking neat and well organized.
Have all but one in class essay and revision missing.
Have final drafts included, but with some grammatical errors.
