1. Go to the following site, and listen to Author Lynne Truss discuss her book “Eats, Shoots, and Leaves.” Scroll down to find it, about half way down the page.

2. Write 4 sentences explaining the information you learned from this interview. Please use clauses to make your sentences long and interesting.

Choose "free grammar exercises" by clicking on the left side of the page

Click on Grammar Exercises and Results

Enter "cancel" at the log on page

Click on Clear Sentences

Click on exercise 14-3, Subordination (the last one on the list)

Do the exercises

Print your results. There is a "print" button in your results page.

4. Go to http://www.quia.com/tq/242401.html (two-word verbs)

and take the test. Print just the summary of your results page and turn it in. (There is no need to print all of the exercises. Your percentage score is enough for me to see.)
