LAB INFORMATION AND POLICIES

Lab Description
The lab for
FT 250- Structural Kinesiology is intended to reinforce the concepts
discussed in the lecture through active participation. The lab is designed
to educate students in various musculature and skeletal indicator points.

3-ring binder notebook |

Proper Attire
Since we will be applying the concepts learned in
the lecture portion of class, students
must dress appropriately for
participation in physical activity beginning with the second week of lab class.
Appropriate attire includes the following:

Tee-shirt, which may be covered by sweatshirt.
NOTE: Women may find it more comfortable and are encouraged to wear a
sports bra, since this may help in locating anatomical landmarks. |

Shorts, which may be covered by sweat pants

 |
Excessive or dangling jewelry is also
discouraged. |

Student Locker Room Policy
 |
Students may use a locker in the O'Connell Sports Center for the duration of
the quarter.

Located at north end of the main gym (men= west; women= east)
|
 |
Select a locker and use your own lock
|
 |
Register your lock with the Thompson Fitness Center
|
 |
Remove your lock and items by the last day of Final Exam week each term
|
 |
Locks will be removed and contents sent to security for 30 days if locks are
either unregistered by the 10th day of the quarter or not removed by the last
day of Final Exam week
|
 |
Contact security to secure items; after 30 days, items will be donated to
charity
|

Evaluation
The evaluation of the lab portion of this course is graded as a supplement to
the lecture course. Therefore, all points earned in the lab class will be
added to the points earned in the lecture portion of the class to accumulate the
total possible points earned.
