Dr. Julian Nelson
Clark College

Dear Campus Community,

The 2009 German Studies in Berlin participants would like to invite you to the opening night of an exhibition of their Berlin photographs on Friday, December 4,  from 6pm until 9pm at Mon Ami Café on Main Street in Vancouver.  Entitled Berlin: Twenty Years after the Wall, the exhibition is a venue for our students to share their creative documentation of a world city now celebrating the twentieth anniversary of the fall of the Wall. The opening night coincides with First Friday, when most galleries, shops, and cafes in the downtown area remain open in the evening to showcase the talent of local artists. Students’ photography will be for sale and the students will donate all proceeds toward creating a student scholarship for next year's German Studies in Berlin study tour to Berlin. Please join us for a night of live music, food, beverages, art, and conversation.

Regards,

Julian Nelson and Katherine Sadler
