Instructions for Downloading MAPLE Worksheets
First, you need to be on a computer with MAPLE 9 or later installed on it to use these labs. (For example, in Bauer Hall Room 105).
To use these lab, you should download the MAPLE document to your machine and load it into MAPLE. You can then play with the commands and change them without having to type them in.
To do this.
- Right click on the link, and choose Save As...
- Save it on your hard drive, using whatever name you like.
- Open MAPLE
- Open the file you downloaded either by opening it from MAPLE, or dragging and dropping it into MAPLE.
Saving Your Work for Future Use
In Bauer hall lab sessions a frequent question is how to store your work. The lab PC's only have temporary storage - document you save on a PC gets erased that night. You can save MAPLE worksheets to a USB drive which you can plug into the keyboard. USB drives are in the book store. Or you can save to read-writable CD (CD-RW).
