Complete your role in the first meeting:
Meeting 1. The primary purpose of Meeting 1 on Tuesday, May 7, will be to discuss how to make our meetings more effective. The agenda may have other items on it that the Chairperson thinks would be discussed at a weekly meeting, but the only item that will most likely be presented and discussed at length will be the company’s proposed new policy to improve the effectiveness of meetings. Agendas (prepared by the chairperson) should be distributed to all team members by Thursday, May 1. The secretary will prepare minutes after the meeting to distribute to the group. The timekeeper will make sure everything on the agenda is accomplished in a timely manner.
Prepare for your role in the second meeting:
Meeting 2--Wednesday, May 15. The primary purpose of Meeting 2 will be to discuss a travel policy for the company. The agenda may have other items on it that the Chairperson thinks would be discussed at a weekly meeting, but the only item that will most likely be presented and discussed will be the company’s new travel policy. Agendas should be distributed to all team members by Monday, May 13. The presenter should bring to the meeting any materials that are needed to support his/her presentation (enough copies for each team member).
